The Petronas Towers

                                                                                                      
The Petronas Towers (also known as the Petronas Twin Towers or KLCC the world's tallest twin structures) are skyscrapers and twin towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They were the tallest buildings in the world from 1998 to 2004 until surpassed by Taipei 101, but remain the tallest twin buildings in the world.The building is the landmark of Kuala Lumpur with nearby Kuala Lumpur Tower.

Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur was inspired by the five pillars of Islam and was designed by an Argentinean- American Architect Cesar Pelli. The twin towers are 88 story and stand at a height of 452 metres above street level. The sky bridge is located on levels 41 and 42 and is 58.4 metres in length and is at a height of 170 metres above street level. There are 29 double deck high speed passenger lifts in each tower. There are 10 escalators in each tower.

Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur features stainless steel cladding and vision glass. 36,910 tonnes of steel have been used to construct the twin towers. Some of the prominent features of the twin towers include Building Control System, Building Security System and state of the art Communication System.
