The ICON

Haxhi Zeka Tower

Haxhi Zeka Tower was built during the 19th century and is notable for its massive construction. What makes it unique when compared to other towers and castles in the region is the use of traditional bricks. The tower has an enclosed balcony from the southern corner of the building which symbolizes the interlacement of rural and urban structures.

Although it has gone through considerable restoration throughout the years, the tower's characteristics and originality have been preserved. Inside, one can still spot decorative parts of the ceiling and other related elements such as the iron doorknobs or window frames.
